This is a place where everyone involved with the AWOD project, no matter where you are
in the world, can share your stories, thoughts, ideas, questions, or concerns with
everyone else working together on this project. Since this project has people involved
not only all across Africa, but also in other parts of the world, we need to stay
connected to each other, and this is the best place to do so. In fact, we all just
need to stay connected period. Here is a good way to start. We can¹t wait to hear
from each one of you!

The AWOD project is a timely initiative.Women around the globe have been subjected to violence and discrimination often inspired by attitudes and myths about their sexuality. Here in Kenya, there's a common myth that a woman who says 'no' means 'yes'.This has led to increasing assaults and acquitance rapes. As AWOD team these myths and attitudes about women will be a challenge since they must be rebutted with empirical evidence.Violence against women must stop!
